Masood as the co- founder of the Futura Group spearheads the real estate project management venture of the group. He is actively involved with the development of 35 International hospitality projects across India. Starting his career as a civil engineer for a large residential condominium project in Goa, he furthered his experience in Bangalore & Nagpur with a range of real estate projects that included integrated townships, shopping malls and hotels. He was one of the key players in getting the first public private partnership development in the country, in Madhya Pradesh.
He was selected by a highly esteemed joint government/private panel to lead the project development of Science City at Ahmedabad. Following the successful completion of Science City, Masood worked on the Palm Zumeraih in Dubai and was involved in critical engineering and reclamation works.
He also led the project development for the Indian real estate portfolio of Pacifica, a multi-billion US based real estate investment company. At Pacifica, Masood implemented hospitality projects – Marriott Ahmedabad & Marriott Bangalore , Hilton Vadodara; Townships at Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad and an IT park in Chennai.
Masood is based in the group’s headquarters at Ahmedabad and travels frequently to the various project development sites. He is a civil engineer with a Masters in Management. Masood is multilingual and speaks Hindi, Kannada and English..
